Does anyone know how to delete hiberfil.sys on an old drive that is NOT my boot drive? Windows won't let me do anything to the file. I tried taking ownership of it, but that also seems to be disallowed. Any ideas?

The difficult we do right away... ...the impossible takes slightly longer.

I assume you've tried turning off hibernation? From an elevated command prompt, run: powercfg -h off
