FF is more a stats play. Multiple games play out on an identical playing field. DD has some stats, but more imagination. Individual games play out on a diversity of playing fields. Seems like more of an opportunity for friends to trash talk each other. Some serious research goes into some leagues. Like figuring out what positions your friends pick in which round of the draft, etc.
