Got out of bed at 06:00, grabbed the laundry baskets, made and drank my :java: Brushed teeth, had a shower, loaded the washing machine. "Odd." I thought. "That felt like there was a lump in that load." About to press "Start" when I thought I'd just check to be on the safe side. And found my phone in the washer ... :-O Don't think that would have helped it much, even with the antivirus liquid I wash Herself's clothes in (Old Folk Homes are breeding grounds for nasties like Norovirus, nearly as bad as Primary schools). You know - that message started out by reminding me of the lyrics of a Beatles song. "Woke up. Got out of bed. Dragged a comb across my head. Made my way downstairs and drank a cup, and looking up I noticed I was late. Grabbed my coat, grabbed my had, made the bus in seconds flat." Not sure how it relates to drowned phones though. :-)

Been there, done that. Happened to my boy on a newish smart phone that was being purchased through contract at the time. He had to suffer going back to the old 2G phone he was using for the next 9 months, until we got him a new one.
That's close to torture :-D
