    I was looking for it but just can't find it. (Unfortunately not bookmarked :-O) basically, it was describing the way to send any windows message (WM_, etc) to any application. I think it was written in MFC. What I'm really after here, is the application (demo) that was provided with the article. I could really use that one now. Any recalls? Regards, Venet.               Here is my best recolection of the application: The application was a dialog box that had many of the 900+ windows messages enumerated (WM_CHAR ...) and you would click on the message, supply paramenters and send the message to any window in your system. John
