I don't know, but my partner is brazilian too and his name is Rochlitz. Just try to pronounce it. You should be used to it by now, living in RS. I have some customers on RS named "Chermont Abicalli", "Charantola", "Brolezi", "Possiede", "Fristch", "Dambock", although nothing beats "Kupcinskas" (I think it's greek). Why no one there has a simple name, like "Mauricio Ritter"? ORACLE One Real A$#h%le Called Lary Ellison

Is that your sig? :omg: Mauricio Ritter wrote: I can hardly spell them Believe me, most Westerners get the pronunciation worse than the spelling- my name's first syllable does NOT rhyme with NEW. It's pronounced PU-NAH-THAAM-BE-KHAR. On a side note, we do have simple names like "Sinha", "Sharma", "Kumar" and so on. It's only Maharashtrian (Maharashtra=state in West central India) names that are complicated, and they invariably end in KAR. A few famous ones are Kanetkar, Wadekar, Tendulkar, Matondkar, Punathambekar, Vijayapurkar, and so on. (Indians should have no difficulty recognizing these names). This is kindof bad but there's this girl on campus that has really huge breasts (especially for her size). Everybody guy on campus knows her by her last name because of this, and some have even used her last name as a word for breasts (not me, never:~ ). I don't want to mention her last name here but it's Greek and fits into the group of names you all have been throwing out there. Leave it to me to post something off the wall:rolleyes: Brad Jennings "You're mom is nice. Mind if I go out with her?" - Jörgen Sigvardsson
