      Saw some recent article about this, and I couldn't help but think, just about everything I've ever read about the event mentions it was followed by a global tsunami with waves going around the entire globe. Given the amount of energy involved, is anyone surprised? So they found some new arcane detail about it that only geologists can get excited about...? Something about the arrangement of sediments around New Zealand?
