or, it could just be due to flu and cold season.

I'm normally healthy - I haven't even had a runny nose since what? 2018? Of course Covid helped there by keeping all the infectious people well away from normal humanity ... :-D

I'm cuddled up to a hot water bottle, under a blanket. I've had a couple of paracetamol 1 1/4 hours ago (which is very rare for me). And I'm still cold and shivery; my hands are shaking; my back, shoulders, and head hurt; and my brain just isn't working. I'm guessing it's the flu jab - I've never had one before - but it could be the Covid booster. Moderna this time, latest version instead of the Pfizer and AstraZeneca I had before. Or the combination of the two, I dunno. I'd go to bed, but it's even colder in there than it is on the sofa, so I'll wait for the electric blanket to fire itself up at the normal time (if I try to reprogram it at the moment I know what will happen). On the bright side, the actual jab sites feel ok. :-D Hopefully it's a short attack - the first Covid jab sideffects lasted about a day IIRC.

Considering that, you have an amazing typing ability and orthography :-)

Currently two finger typing rather than ten, and Chrome underlines everything I misspell.

Sorry to hear this Paul - I think it's probably the flu jab - shouldn't last long though - take care and don't solve my clue in 1 nanosecond tomorrow :-D

I got my flu shot and covid booster last week. The following day I was very tired but I didn't ache. Then the following day I was fine again. My arm was sore for a few days and a bruise the size of a finger tip was there but nothing else. These shots are relatively painless compared to the pneumonia shot and the shingles shot. Those leave your arm sore for a few days where you can't even lay on your side. But it is still less painful than actually getting shingles which can be excruciating.
