We are having a game of secret Santa for the Christmas celebration and need to play the role of secret Santa to a random person. What gift should I choose when I don't know the person very well?

I hate those things. So glad I'm not working in an office anymore! But in general, a gift card for Amazon is always useful. Marc

A good idea in theory, but how many people truly read self help books, much less put what they learn into practice?

My idea is : At least if such a book is on the shelf, that person will read it maybe after 10 years, when he/she is is some kind of distress, at time of need. And will start making sense of all that is in it. Books are perhaps the most long lasting of all types of gifts. I have books at home gifted to my forefathers more than 100 years ago, and i still refer to them.

Did she just watch Psycho and wanted a reverse role play scenario?
