    When melodrama meets truth[^] I'd love to know what Jessica Lynch makes of all this. Even if they did crash rather than were ambushed, it must have been a horrific ordeal. But by making it out to be far worse than it actually was, an almost Hollywood style situation, I wonder if the press have condemned her to live in the shadow of a lie, where people will always think "well it wasn't that bad was it...". I wonder if anyone will take the fall for this, or if the media will continue to go on unchecked indefinitely. Freedom of speech is one thing, but lies portrayed to millions as truth is entirely another :|
