I am happy to see people promote Latin music here! (Disclaimer: I love Latin music, but cannot claim to be very knowledgeable about it, and I do not speak a word of Spanish.) For another song with a slight Latin feeling, praising the hard workers: Buffy Sainte-Marie: Los Pescadores[^]. Really old (1965), in English (except for the title line) - but that is the Buffy Sainte-Marie that I love!

I would not exactly say "The trash song" more "the song of / about trash" If the song is trash or not is something very subjective :-D
