Cats "love" laser pointers. My cat knows where the light comes from; he gets all excited when he sees me pick up the pointer; yet he still chases the light. I can run the pointer "under a door", and he'll sit in front of the door ... waiting. If he then sees the pointer in my hand, he'll give me a stink eye.

"Before entering on an understanding, I have meditated for a long time, and have foreseen what might happen. It is not genius which reveals to me suddenly, secretly, what I have to say or to do in a circumstance unexpected by other people; it is reflection, it is meditation." - Napoleon I

As a signature block I once saw read: I've known many Zen masters in my life; most of them were cats.

Does he close his eyes slightly to give you the stink eye?

The difficult we do right away... ...the impossible takes slightly longer.

Does the same with the mouse cursor. Not enough action: will gnaw on your hand. Can't do it while I'm standing up. But will swipe me if I try to pass. Recess is recess.
