    Recently, there was a discussion here about mouse buttons going bad very quickly. Just stumbled upon this video[^] of a guy who also said he has to replace his mouse every 6 mos because buttons go bad so he built his own mouse. Interesting explanation of the problem and solution.

    I started such a thread not too long ago. If it's not one of the buttons, it's the scrollwheel, or the actual tracker (movement along the X/Y axis). Given his time investment...I think I'll stick with buying more. Maybe try a batch of different models, and see which lasts the longest. Lately it's been my *gaming* mouse that's started acting up, noticeably.
