Now it even gets more crazy when I think about it. When I'm getting ready for work in the morning I'm talking to myself in my head about things I have to do today. Making mental lists for the day. When I'm sitting coding (or building something in my shop, or working on my car) I usually talk out loud to myself. Although usually what is said out loud is along the lines of "What the hell?" or "You where just true to seconds ago, what freaking set you to false!?"

Cool, good point, I hear people talking out loud to themselves too.. But maybe they think they are mentally talking to themselves, but in actuality they are really talking out loud? How about if we all do that, but are just not aware of it???? I'm in DEEP trouble if that's the case Nick

How is it that we can "hear" ourselves think? When we talk to ourselves, we are not making any actual "noise" Our ears, which obviously facilitate our sense of hearing, are not involved in this process at all. So when talking to one's self, how do we actually hear our own voice? Nick

When you start sending yourself memos and calling meetings with yourself, I'd talk to a shrink. Besides, which one of you is responsible for the coffee and donuts?
