The canned-meat company filed two legal challenges with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to try to stop SpamArrest (search) from using the decades-old name Spam, for which it holds the trademark.
I didn't see Hormel sue Monty Python when they used Spam endlessly. Frankly, anyone producing the crap that is called Spam should be arrested and forced to eat that salty, gelatinous goo. X|

Actually, I was once poor. I lived off of canned beef stew, spam, and macaroni & cheese. These things, at a minimum, will sustain life. To me it did not matter... sliced, cubed, or fried... Spam alone is deadly.

I was guilty of making one into a baked ham once for an Easter dinner. Cover it in sliced Pineapple and Cloves then bake until golden brown… Mmmmmmmm

Difference is MP were actually talking about Spam (the meat). Some people are corrupting the trademark into a bad thing. Like when Mattel protested Aqua's Barbie Girl song. Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored Aldous Huxley (1894 - 1963)
