My Sancharnet account works flawlessly. It supports POP3 (works with OE/MS Outlook). I don't know how much storage space they provide, because I never needed to, since I download all my mails to my Outlook. Since it seems you already have it, you won't need to spend any extra money on it. There, problem solved. :) What do you mean Rediffmail keeps crashing? I've never used it but heard bad things about it too. My brother has a rediffmail account and he used it to send several mails to me, many of which I never got.

No, I can't seem to recall any offhand. The trouble here is, you will rarely get any email service unless you also buy an ISP account. If you want to do that, you can find out more in your area. Or if you don't want to do it, you can try 123india.com. I don't know how their service is, or even whether they still exist, though. Caltiger.com used to provide free service, but I think they've discontinued it and turned it into a paid one. Anyway you can go to their website. You can also talk to your local sancharnet guys and see if your account can be transferred to a vsnl.whatever.in one. I think it can be done in Durgapur, so it must be possible in your area too. After all, the admins are the same (at least here). ;P You can also google for email providers in India and take your pick.

Go to: islamway.com[^] Or if you prefer the Arabic version of the site, go to: islamway.com[^] The islamway.com site offers a free 15 MB mail box with OE support, but read their terms and conditions page carefully. Their service is much faster than many others that I have tried (I mean the time pages take to load, they almost take nothing!;)), and for myself I find it much much faster to browse my mail online on their site than to use OE.

I've been using netscape.net. They give you 5MB of email space and POP3 access for free. ------------------------------------------ The ousted but stubbornly non-dead leader reportedly released an audiotape this weekend, ending by calling on Iraqis to, quote, "resist the occupation in any way you can, from writing on walls, to boycotting, to demonstrating and taking up arms." adding, "you know, pretty much anything I used to kill you for."
