LOTR Query
-
Hey everyone, sorry for posting here, I tried to search but found nothing. My roommate has a question and I thought for sure somebody here will be able to answer it, because I've seen a lot of LOTR talk here in the past. So, here's the question: What's the name of the creepy character that leads the kids around in LOTR-Twin Towers? Anybody know? Thanks for the help! Chris Richardson

Photography - The product of my passionBeing a geek sometimes has a downside, but... I had to check my Appendix B in my copy of The Return of the King. In the rekoning of Gondor, Third Age 2968 Birth of Frodo 2983 Birth of Samwise 3018 September 23 Frodo leaves Hobbiton Therefore, Frodo is 50, Sam is 35. According to Appendix C: Shire Rekoning 1382 Meriadoc (The Magnificent) Brandybuck 1390 Peregrin (I) Took As Shire Rekoning begins in 1600 on the Gondor Calendar, Merry is 36, Pippin is 28. As if that weren't enough, Frodo and Samwise leave the company on Feburary 26, 3019, which puts the original question into context.
