My house has "dead zones" that my WAP doesn't reach. For example, the WAP is on the first floor, leaving adapters on the second floor with low to very low signal strength. Any suggestions for improving reception, so my house can harmonize with it's inner home?

Depending on the WAP you have you may be able to get a signal booster. Other than that, you might buy a second WAP and place it on the top floor in the opposite side of the house, covering more distance. I have a single WAP downstairs plugged to my wired ethernet. The WAP can reach through 2 walls and a floor to my bedroom at 60% signal quality without signal boosting. I'm hoping to get another WAP soon.

If your adaptors have jacks for external antennas, adding a small antenna may help a lot. The brand I have has this option, which extends my range to several miles with the antenna I use for my ISP connection. A short dipole could double the normal range if that's available to you.
