I find "non-WASP" (White-Anglo-Saxon-Protestant) women considerably more attractive than most WASP women, and have had many "love-at-first-sight" experiences. Possibly, though, it's a cultural-locale thing. Let me give you an example. There's a very attractive woman at this Indian restaurant that frequent. Besides her natural beauty, she's very attractive because she's intelligent, witty, articulate, and has a vibrant "aura" about her. Besides her physical attractiveness, I think anyone that has the ability to move from her native land to my country, find a job, put herself through college, and work hard at fullfulling her career dreams (which is NOT being a waitress at an Indian restaurant, BTW, that's just a job she has over the summer) is someone that IS easy to fall in love with. What I'm trying to say is, "non-white" women in a predominantly white society are attractive because they are different and often have special qualities. I think the same can be said of white women in a non-white society, and can be generalized to anyone that "sticks out"--man or woman. Does that make sense? For one thing, in my part of the world we dont have races - because there are no whites or blacks here. The only race here consists of brown colored Indians in various shades of brown. Second, its not fair to say that my country is uncivilized just because you dont like some of my comments. I admit its a poor country but poor and uncivilized are not comparable. Third, from the other posts in this thread its quite obvious that inter-racial relationships are still not fully accepted by everyone. Nish

Sometimes I wonder whether the difference between the 'civilized' part world and our 'uncivilized' part of the world is that most 'civilized' people find ways to deny things like like racism. Out here we have had people openly practising castism (which i find no less offensive than racism) and thus are considered uncivilized or less civilized than those who call blacks and browns 'colored' (or is it 'coloured'? oh hell they even spell the word differently!!) because it's "less offensive"(???)
