http://www.hackerwargame.org offers hackers $250 and more to hack into a Windows 2000 system. Anonymity and "complete privacy protection" are "guaranteed". The point of this is to study how hackers think, in order to better understand the threat and guard aganst it. Is anyone else laughing their ass off on this? They're going to study a bunch of script kiddies and nothing more.

How about trying to hack the site, without joining? I love it when a plan comes together. :-D Chris Meech If you spin a Chinese person around, do they become dis-oriented? Why do people in this time period worry so much about time traveler's destroying their worldline when they have no problem doing it themselves every day? John Titor.

Good point. I remember the guy at Shields Up![^] (an excellent site to check your external vulnerabilities) once made a dismissive comment about "script kiddies", who then launched a DOS attack that shut him down and prompted him to post an apology and "I give up" message. Good point, but there really isn't that *much* thinking involved - they download a script, run it, go play GTA on the gamecube while mom bitches about how worthless their father is. It's not like they are sitting there massaging the script to get it to work.
