Lunacy with IE
-
This may sound stupid...having abandoned Internet Explorer for Mozilla almost 12 months ago I'm now faced with a Web Portal that needs to be opened in IE to allow me to edit it. Does anyone know how to create a shortcut that opens in IE inspite of my default web browser preferences. I keep on opening the damn thing in Mozilla and its driving me round the bend  John Hudson Nick Rowan enforcing Law and Order in the Lounge::rose: Oi! Paul Watson wrote: iexplore http://blahblah.com/ works fine Yes it does as a Run Command, but being a lazy sod I wanted it as a desktop shortcut rather than having to type it each time but the blasted shortcut wizard just chokes and refuses to set it up.:(( I finally cracked it by creating a batch file with the command start iexplore http://blahblah.com/ in it and plonked it on the desktop - problem solved:cool: John Hudson Nick Rowan enforcing Law and Order in the Lounge::rose: Oi!
