In my quest for a nice tekky present, I was pointed in the direction of this dinky little gadget: clickety[^] I think I might just get it for my husband's birthday...or do you think he might detect an ulterior motive, i.e. I'd like one!? Ah, who cares, it sure as hell beat socks and ties. Has anyone had any first hand experience with this sort of gizmo? Debbie

It looks great! If someone got one of those for me I'd love it. As for the ulterior motive bit, at least it will help settle those I TOLD you so debates :-D That and when he's busy doing something and has a flash of insparation, there's not always a pen handy. Very neat. Lets see... the exchange rate is 12 to 1 multiply by.. carry the one... add import taxes and shipping... EGADS! I'm not getting one soon :(
Despite the high cost of living, it remains popular. Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

That's the half of me that has to go to work, pay the bills and sit in traffic for three hours every day...

Hmmmm my calculator just said "Stack overflow"... (Seriously that's over R7500.00 - More than most average people (i.e. not counting people in IT) earn :) .)

My brother has one of these: he got the older model (no LCD or anything). It has 128megs and can work just like a USB keychain. The other "beef" he had with it was that you couldn't reorganize the songs once they were copied onto the device: the song playlist was the order they were copied on (I suppose that's how a CD/tape works). Batteries seem to last long enough too. I think with some of the newer MuVo's, they have the LCD and re-org abilites. (MuVo MX) I was green with envy when he showed it to me. Then again, I can always trump him with my PocketPC. :-D The kindest thing you can do for a stupid person, and for the gene pool, is to let him expire of his own dumb choices.
