Why does that remember me "pulp fiction"? Sadly, I heard many times your story, and too often kids are the culprits. I hope they didn't break the car too (door, glass or lock).

I hope you have an insurance for broken glass. At last they did a "clean" job. Last time it happened to me, they twisted the door from the top and weren't even able to open it! Bloody amateurs

My friend who lives in New York city told me a long time ago (early 90s) that it was popular for a while for people to hang these little signs on the rearview mirror that said "Don't break in, I have no car stereo". The legend around New York was that someone with one of these signs came back to their car and found the window smashed and someone had written on the sign: "Get one!"

That's awful. :( I had a friend who's dad worked in Cleveland, and it was so bad there that even if he left some chump change lying around inside the car, somebody would break in and steal it. If your nose runs and your feet smell, then you're built upside down.

Knew a guy who hooked up a magnatron from a microwave oven under his seat which was connected to the car battery- and only deactivated by a kill switch under the dash. ONe morning his car stereo was gone and his car battery was dead. Could be a dirty car stereo stealin' theif on kidney dialisys, 1/2 a dead liver and no way to have children... who knows. Paul

A friend and I used to think if we could somehow hook up an electrical generator to your car somehow and charge up your car. Whoever touches the car then would be in for a shocking surprise. ;) And yes, my friend's car had been broken into before. Hope you catch the finks.
