Oh and they forgot a classic: ...there was delighted laughter across the land when commentator Brian Johnson referred to two players during a Cricket match, pointing out that 'The bowler's Holding, the batsman's Willey'. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass South Africa Brian Welsch wrote: "blah blah blah, maybe a potato?" while translating my Afrikaans. Crikey! ain't life grand?

Apparently it is for real, just not quite the slip one thinks i.e. premeditated me thinks. Still hilarious. My dad, bless his cotton socks, loves telling people it. Repeatedly. Willie is essentially an innocent playground word, and there was delighted laughter across the land when commentator Brian Johnson referred to two players during a Cricket match, pointing out that 'The bowler's Holding, the batsman's Willey'. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass South Africa Brian Welsch wrote: "blah blah blah, maybe a potato?" while translating my Afrikaans.
