Hi All, CodeProject has saved hundreds of thousands of developers literally millions of hours of development time. So now's your chance to help out in return. In order to continue helping you guys and girls we need sponsors, and if we are going to have sponsors then we may as well get sponsors that have stuff you are interested in. I've just posted the Code Project Community Survey, so if you could take a minute or two to fill in the survey it would help us a lot!. Thanks everyone! cheers, Chris Maunder

Chris, Nice survey - when you get time - some time - any time - a section or forum for those of us in the SysAdmin area would be appreciated. We are a niche market, and I would find this very useful in exchanging knowledge. How do I order the beer  ??? Old Simon

Well Codeproject has saved me some time, so I was happy to fill out the survey, but I felt the household income and purchasing budget were a little to personal to answer so I left them blank, but I found out you either want everything or nothing:)
I'm confused  Just how is the income question personal -- the survey is anonymous for chrissake... Sincerely Yours, Brian Hart "And that's the news from Lake Wobegon, where all the women are strong, the men are good-looking, and the children are above-average." - Garrison Keillor

My favourite part about the survey is: Under "Which Developer Magazines do you read?", you can check the None box and still check other boxes -- so someone might say that they read WDJ, DDPJ, and VCDJ and None magazines ;P Makes a whole bunch of sense. Not only that but the survey, after you click Submit, keeps telling you to answer the first question, even if you check all the boxes ;P Sincerely Yours, Brian Hart "And that's the news from Lake Wobegon, where all the women are strong, the men are good-looking, and the children are above-average." - Garrison Keillor

OK - I guess I'm assuming that you have your little thinking caps on when you answer the survey ;). I've run through the survey again and it's all working fine for me (and 79 others). What browser/OS you using? cheers, Chris Maunder

Yep - it's just aggregate values we (and our advertisers) are interested in. I also thought it would be interesting to readers since there have been so many questions about what everyone earns. This is a cool way to find out (and share) without have to explicitely say how much you yourself earn. cheers, Chris Maunder

The last question: if you implied you wanted nothing (by checking no boxes) then it complained. I'd like codeproject beer, but imagine it happening or being shipped safely. As for T-shirts, I'd probably get one, but I have too many already, and I prefer cartoons from Asturias then geeky shirts.
