I think he is Iraqi - notice the use of the word "sheep" - and as we all know the special relationship that Iraqis have with their sheep. J. ----------------------------
Hmm, I thought Saddam was the guy dressed in black using a microsoft OS on a PC, and that the Iraqi's where the poor down trodden masses dressed in white and using Macs. Now my poor little brain has really lost the plot. Ok, so we should start the propaganda again with the whole dodgy arab thing, Right?

US Marine wrote: Actually, I picked that word up when I was visiting you at your trailer home. When I came out of it the other day everyone was screaming PIKEY. I asked one of them what it was and then they explained it to me. Its not a trailer home, its a caravan, which implies that you are indeed from the US.
Giles wrote: Its not a trailer home, its a caravan, which implies that you are indeed from the US. Nope - in the US it's "trailer" or "mobile home" but never "trailer home". A small distinction but significant. All I've ever wanted was an honest week's pay for an honest day's work.

I was bored yesterday so I decided to see how many sheepies exist on CodeProject. After a few chuckles, I discovered that there were only a few. No reason to name names we all know whom you are! You can visit my site to see the stats www.sheepies.com\cp.html. Thanks for your replies. The King of Troll's Big Brother!

You seem to be working hard on disproving this guy is a yankee, do you know him?

BlingMeister wrote: why don't you stop posting here, and try alt.bonhead.yankees instead? Despite his "name" I highly suspect he's not a yank. In fact, if I were a betting man, I'd say he's a teenaged limey. All I've ever wanted was an honest week's pay for an honest day's work.

I guess it depends on where you are from. Most outside the US refer to US citizens as yanks, but some Southerners would kill anyone that called them a yank. I'm in the Southwest and Don't really care one way or the other. My code isn't buggy. Those are all fleatures.

When a "reb" (ie. rebel or American from the deep south) says "yank" they usually mean a noutherner. When a non-American says it they usually mean any American. When a non-southern American says "yank" you need to consider the context to decide. In this context, I meant any American. All I've ever wanted was an honest week's pay for an honest day's work.

Could be an expat who has being picking up too much of the lingo. What was it - "pikey", my god, he's being watching to many of Guy Richie's films.
Or BBC America or some such on the cable or satellite.

I think alt.yankees.boneheads would be more appropriate as it doesn't imply that all yankees are bone heads. Unless you have scientific proof that they are all bone heads, of course. ;) -- Must I be the meat in an imbecill sandwich?
