The title should have filtered out 99.9% of you all :rose: so for those left: Has anyone experience of using IBM's free offer of access to their mainframes for Linux development? I'm wondering just how it works, if it works, and whether we get root access to out own virtual Linux box. I have to support a major company about to use Linux on a huge IBM crate, and I don't want to have to buy my own IBM mainframe (salesman need not call). ;P My agent is a bog-standard C++ piece of code which works on Mandrake, RedHat and Suse.
