What kind of drinking environment do you prefer? Local bar? Sports bar? At home? Jumping through a bonfire? Me? I'm a pretty easy person to please so I'll hang out just about anywhere but I prefer a sports bar on game days and a college bar the rest of the time because almost everybody there lives a fairly similar lifestyle to my own and drinks are usually cheaper. Bar and grill type places are pretty cool too but are a little too family oriented for a hangout. I like going to dance clubs too but they wear me out quickly (too much excitement). I prefer to do my drinking in a jacuzzi, surrounded by young, pliant females. But then I wake up, and have to settle for drinking in a neighborhood pub, with a grill, where I know everyone and like the selections on the jukebox. "Your village called -
    They're missing their idiot."

If you fall asleep, you're drinking too little. There's a golden mean everywhere.. you just have to find it ;) -- I can't resist a touch of evil.

Ah, at least a flattering reputation! Nonetheless, I believe we act the same world wide, don't we? ---- It reminds me an interview of Robert Mitchum. A journalist asked him what was the first thing he was doing in the morning. Robert Mitchum answered: "I get dressed, then I go back home".

This order of precedence shows what I prefer. 1) Anywhere selling obscure Real Ales, with decent live entertainment, and good food (eg, CAMRA Festival) 2) Anywhere selling Real Ales, with good food, not too smoky or crowded (eg, a good JD Wetherspoons) 3) Anywhere selling decent "commercial" beers (Like Guinness, or good bitters), has the occasional guest ale, plus busty barmaids and friendly people (eg, my local. It's new decor leaves something to be desired though, like a new decor) 4) Anywhere selling drinkable "commercial" beers, and has a pool table -- Ian Darling "The moral of the story is that with a contrived example, you can prove anything." - Joel Spolsky
