Hi I intend to apply for the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Programm next year. I hired an immigration consultant from Winkler and she is currently looking for an arranged employment for me. I don't know a lot about Manitoba (I am more familiar with BC and Alberta) so it would be great if you could tell me anything about Manitoba (just what you think I need to know - please nothing about the cold winters :-D). I've only every driven through Manitoba on the way to somewhere else, but I think a lot depends upon whether your looking to move to Winnipeg (a city) or elsewhere. Well I was born in Manitoba but I don't think that's going to help you out any, because I left that province with my folks at the pre-programming age of five. I don't think anyone actually stays in Manitoba for a long time, I think everyone that was born there moves out at some point. And anyone that moves there gets sick of the winter and moves back to where they came from Greba, My lack of content on my home page should be entertaining.

Does Canada even admit Manitoba is part of their country??? :sigh: I think Manitoba was created as a really wide buffer zone so it would be hard for people from Saskatchewan to get to Ontario...;P Steve
