Yes, complete control. Or as much as Microsoft will allow ;-) 1. Invest in a decent virus checker 2. Install a firewall (I like ZoneAlarm Pro) 3. Install Adaware[^] 4. Windows Update is your friend, Follow these simple steps and you can get control of your computer back. Thats is about the worst advice you can give. Well to a PC literate anyways, it might work on grandma. 1. I dont ever run an AV. I cant understand how people get these virii... 2. Get a Linux based hardware firewall. Softwalls just don't cut it. 3. After the IE fiasco, I doubt I will run WU again. :) leppie::AllocCPArticle("Zee blog");
