I wonder how that device will react if there's a draft in the house though. Will it give me motion sickness? :~ -- In the land of the blind, be king![^]

My gut feeling still is that this is a hoax--the technological claims simply make no sense. Basically it claims to luminesce "air" without causing any "overall change in environmental properties of the room in which the device operates". One possibility is that it's doing nothing more than spraying a microfine mist of water from the unit, then projecting an image onto that. (You can see this effect at Disneyland's night show--it's rather cool.) But this would raise the humidity of the room and thus belies the technological claims. Anyone who thinks he has a better idea of what's good for people than people do is a swine. - P.J. O'Rourke

A few notes: The image is not 3 dimensional, it is 2 dimensional. It appears to work by producing a particle cloud: As long as the device contains one solid horzontal edge to produce the particle cloud -- onto which the image is projected -- there are no limitations in length. http://www.technewsworld.com/perl/story/31303.html[^] I'm not quite sure how that is compatible with the statement on the website that "Nothing needs to be refilled." ------------------------------------------ Law of Nazi Analogies: As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one. In any debate, Hitler's opinion on the subject is automatically the evil one, so it had better be contrary to the side you're arguing.

Is there anything that can be done to locally change the density of the air? Change its temperature? Ionize it? Magnetize it? My question is what do they use for the projection mechanism?
