Howdy ya'll, Does anyone market a poster that lays out the Windows API graphically? I don't know how many times I've thought, "hmmmm, I am sure there is an API function for that....what was it called??". I was thinking a poster similar to the Java class posters that all the Java guys have in their cubes would be helpful. Surely someone has done this already?

Yeah it's good idea to have a Win API poster. What java guys have is class hierarchy, similar you can find for MFC. How would one design plan C functions in a poster  :) ;) ;P :-D  Farhan Noor Qureshi

You could group the api's by functional area, perhaps based on the Platform SDK table of contents in MSDN. It would not be a real class hierarchy diagram, but you could mimic the look and feel of one.

Yeah, but it would probably require one poster per functional area.

If so, I bet it's sold as "Windows API Wallpaper", not a poster ;) -- Russell Morris Georgia Institute of Technology "Lisa, just because I don't care doesn't mean I'm not listening..." - Homer

The MSDN documentation already has the Win32 API broken down into "Functions by Category" or Alphabetically. "Functions by Category" is usually very helpful and I think that may be what you are looking for. Creating a poster with all the Win32 functions would be a very large poster. You would have to tape it to the ceiling.:) Kind regards, Tim

Nah... It will have to be projected on the moon. Alternatively use MSDN. (2b || !2b)
