My fav is SciTE It's open source, lightweight yet powerful, has advanced hotkeys such as ctrl-f3, or ctrl-f2, syntax colouring for a pile of languages. In short, it rocks. :-D

Actually, I was quite proficient with it. I remember starting it up, making a change to a source file, exiting, and starting a compile, all in the typeahead buffer. Of course, if I really wanted to brag, I could mention my blistering speed on the IBM model 29 keypunch machine.

A nice question for the poll though... with the amount opf responses!!!!!!!! I use HTML-Kit from Chami.com, for my HTML/ASP pages, VS.NET for .NET - an obvious choice, Notepad / MS Word - for all others @ UNIX - EMACS :-O I was born intelligent
