How can I type cast a CString to a LPTSTR to avoid this error: 'type cast' : cannot convert from 'char *(__thiscall CString::*)(int)' to 'char *':confused:

I remember studying this in my college..ya .. in discrete mathematics. If i remember correctly in a boolean truth table if the output is all true for an expression after evaluation its called Tautology or else its a contradiction :confused: Cheers Kannan

The definition George gave is correct. His comment was a replication of a comment made 6 1/2 hours earlier, therefore it was a tautology, which is the reason for my comment. Well, it was not just a "replication" but rather "extension". E.g. I was reffering to the questions in general - those ought to be asked in the correct forums. I mean in general. A tautology would be looking more like: "Me too" or "I Agree"... I was also making a point supporting Tomasz's statement.
