New CodeProject Servers

That's great. Codeproject takes so long to load as it is, I figured you guys would soon get a better hosting solution. w00h00 :) The graveyards are filled with indispensible men.
Score: 1.0 (5 votes). Hey, guys. Don't behave like a bunch of Linux zealots kids. We all love CP, but it is slow, and there's nothing wrong with saying that. At least Chris has some useful feedback and he is going to fix the problem.

Not sure if you've been hearing the screams but we now have 2 new web servers (replacements) and are in the process of moving our current boxes to rack mounted units in preparation for the move to our new hosting facility. Expect occasional and very brief outages for the next few days, with the grand move being the week of Feb 15. cheers, Chris Maunder

Spending Friday evenings nursing overloaded servers is enough feedback for me. We know the servers are slow. We have dedicated the last 2 months to working out a plan to tackle this issue, and will be spending the next 2 - 3 months doing everything we can to solve the problem within our limited resources. cheers, Chris Maunder

Most of us can't afford .net or MSDN universal, but I'm sure there are plenty who would throw down $20 - $100 or even more to fund a CP upgrade. May be worth a try. You could even offer CP supporter status to thosse with contribs of $100+ :-D ~Nitron.
