i have already made the project dll and copied it to the other machine along with all the aspx files using VS.NET.. but my prob is that i am having errors while running the code on the other machine... i get error saying : Access denied to 'c:/inetpub/wwwroot/MyApp' directory. Failed to start monitoring directory changes. "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."1Thess. 5:16-18

Unfortunately, I can't remember exactly what triggers this; generally though, make sure the following are done, and there shouldn't be a problem: Compile the app in release mode Create a new virtual directory in IIS Copy *.aspx and web.config to the new directory Copy the \bin directory to the new directory Other gotchas: check the authentication & authorization settings in web.config and for the virtual directory. Check here on CP and MSDN for more information. What a piece of work is man, how noble in reason, how infinite in faculties, in form and moving how express and admirable . . . and yet to me, what is this quintessence of dust? -- Hamlet, Act II, Scene ii.

Up at the top of the Visual Studio window, just under the "Help" menu, it says "Debug" on a drop-down list? Change that to "Release". Press F1, then look up "authentication element" and "authorization element" settings in the index. I didn't provide a link, I thought perhaps you could search this site and MSDN on your own.
