Codeproject subscription?
-
Maybe this would be more of a 'suggestions forum' type of question, but how about having a paid-subscription-to-codeproject service? The only thing extra I'd ask from the subscription is that it would be hosted on a faster server, because CP has been dog-slow for me for weeks now :(

They are making improvements. It's getting better every day, and it will probably get a lot better once they move to .net. We all feel the pain equally now. -Andy Brummer

roel_ wrote: CP has been dog-slow for me for weeks now Bummer. Chris got us some shiny new servers in the past couple of weeks, though, so I doubt that it's a problem with the CP infrastructure. I often run a trace when CP is "dog-slow" and almost always the slowdown happens in the telus network; the packets scoot along nicely from here to Texas on the espire net, then slide over to Chicago on the qwest system, then line up in a lengthy queue at the border, waiting for telus to notice them. That's not something a subscription can fix. Heard in Bullhead City - "You haven't lost your girl -
you've just lost your turn..." [sigh] So true... -

roel_ wrote: hosted on a faster server, because CP has been dog-slow for me for weeks now I thought I saw some place where Chris has been working on these types of issues, new servers, etc.... Mostly in the last couple of weeks, etc... About your time frame. Nick This are my own opinions. You know the rest.....

Well they did hire Datagrid Girl. I think it would be pretty mean to make her change her name to "Homegrownpagedtable Girl", so hopefully they'll move to .NET. :)
