      Yes pay rises were inevitable, however to hire a Software Engineer for about £7000 p.a. is very cheap! :) Ant.

        Hmmm, I don't think its quite possible for any software engineer in India to be paid more than (let's say $20 k pa) in the near future and that's an extravagent estimate. A dollar is about 50 Indian rupees so there's no getting away from the fact that its going to be awhile before salaries rise enough for offshoring companies to rethink their strategy "Fortunately I had given him a false name" said Ukridge "Why ?"
