you can install an opensource project its DotProject, a very good project management software. its in PHP though but for this issue you can install xampp server on your server and you will be good to go.

I have a client who asked me to make him a products catalog. but it needs to be dynamic. he can enter any metadata he wants about the products and its gonna be searchble. I'm still imaging the architecture, anyone have any ideas?
