I have noticed part of this problem with my computer occasionally. The part about the window not appearing. IE usually remembers the last window size. If you get one of the porn pop-ups which are very hard to close, and usually don't let you see what's inside the window, and close that last, IE remembers how the window was configured. I would recommend opening IE and right clicking, and selecting "Maximize". This will should bring the window up. As for what it's running that would take 99% of processor power, I don't know. However it would be a good ides to download Spybot Search And Distroy, and Ad-Aware, uipdate them and run them. Best of luck!
