I want to create a setup file for my application thats is done vs 2005.. how do i compile the crystal report information to the setup file cause now when i run the report from my application after setup the is error itried to copy manually the dll into the directory.. still cannot diff error come out saying that.. the file to something i n registery.. now i'm a hurry so pls help... thanks

I need to develop a system that can transfer data from 1 pc to another pc using dialup because the user dont want use any FTP service.. so i cannot use any isp services so i think i need to create a service at one side that can accept called from another side and get the transaction and stop the connection... and i need to create i utlity that can dialup and get data and disconnect.. 2 utility 1 dialup and 1 accept call.. how do transfer this to my coding any example or source that i can use.. in c#... or is there any otherway for me to settle this issue. thanks

I have a case which i run the sql statement from my c# application.. becasue the query is big and dont have indexed on the table sometimes i got the timeout error how so i set the timeout period.. i cannot change the database structure cause is it in use and they dont do want to make any changes to it.. any sugesstion..

I want check if the user press the F1 to F12 keys i try put it under keypress method of the form but the F1 to F12 key is not captured by key press event i want to know how do i trigger F1 to F12 keys thanks in advance.... Jalil

i am developing a financial system using c sharp i have 1 master class that open all the master table required by all the form and store it in 1 static dataset that can be access from anywhere in the sytem.. but i want to change to have make it something like caching system where if the data required is not in the master class then i will get it from server.. the tricky part is that i want clear unwanted resource so i want to have to checking like if the dataset/datatable is not used in a certain timeframe let say 15 mins the i want to close the file any idea on how implement this idea.. sample MasterFile [Customer] when i do invoice transaction i will open the customer if the customer is not open at the master class and after i close the invoice screen the customer data still remain there for a cretain perriod of time.. so any form after that need to access the customer file dont have to fetch data from sql server again.. if not use in 30 mins it will closed... thanks

I need a suggestion on opening SQL Connection Is it better for me to open and close the connection on each form that accces the data or i create i static connection that last thourgh to application run time, then close it.. I got a few feedback saying.. some say if i open and close connection each it may effect the performance and some say that if i open and static connection it will cause memory problem.. for ur info currently i doing with 1 static connection.. please give me an explanation on this issue thanks

Link the table again, and then retry the operation. this error ussually because the database link in foxpro in broken. u can to to connect to indivudual table instead of database.. use use the foxpro table driver in ODBC there..

I want to develop and aplication to te information from 1 weigthing machine that is connected to my serial port. but the problem there is no DLL or any library that i can use from the machine vendor. thay only let me know tha address where i can get the data from and after i get the i have to delete the data from the machine.. how do i make my a serial port listener that whenever the machin have activity i have to get notified by the machine. thanks..
