What question could not be answered with a Google search?
None, assuming the search term is broad enough to cover all of the necessary sources of information. However, there are quite a few questions that can't be answered with a single search result (i.e., a page that shows exactly how to do what the person is trying to accomplish). If the question being asked is doing something novel, such as combining various things into one, then it's a good question (well, has the potential to be). If it's asking something that is immediately available without any novelty, it's not such a good question.

I'm frankly getting tired of the bitching and complaining by "professionals" regarding question quality.
I think something that we forget is that we too were once in school and that our analytic abilities were not as fully developed. Back in that time, I would not have analyzed the question well enough to know that I had various resources to pull from. My knee-jerk reaction may have been to ask another person a question in order to get an answer, rather than ask a search engine. Being a youngin', I may have just followed my knee-jerk reaction rather than fully thinking something through. I think this is something we need to remind ourselves of on occassion so we are more tolerant of others. Still, linking to Google politely may not be such a bad idea. That way, we are providing an answer as well as demonstrating how to get the answer (fish vs fishing).
