I was 33 when I wrote my first "Hello World" program (in ADA). I'm 38 now and I've been working as a Developer for over 3 1/2 years. It was a great change from construction! The best advise I can give you is to take some courses. It will force you to dig into the subject and get you past those initial sticking points.... Good Luc
