It was put on the market as a 'gap' item to make them money and they had no intention of supporting it in the long term the only thing is they forget to tell the public that this is what it was so there was a lot of really peed off people when they pulled the pin ... fortunately I bought VHS ...

I'm over them too ... They are such a greedy organization and want to control and own everything so that every time one of us uses anything we have to pay them ... Well I refuse to buy their products and seeing Bluray is theirs (which if you ask me is another stunt like the 'Beta' tape one) I won't be using it either I'll just wait for the next technology.

  • Why does MS Word now only paste as plain text from Firefox and Opera
    B Bobby Dean

I used to be able to copy and paste from HTML sources to MS Word 2003 and it would paste all the info including tables, formating etc. Now it seems that there has been a change somewhere that now only allows me to do this from IE7 to Word and if I try to copy from Firefox or Opera all I get is plain text. Does anyone know why this is now the case? and if it is a Microsoft change, isn't it against the law to limit a non-Microsoft applications capabilities?
