I believe you have to look into windows hooks. Install a hook into the OS and handle the wndproc looking for the events as they appear. I think moving many controls placed on form isn't a good way. I would look for better way for example I would place them in frame and move that frame, not separated controls. Scroll bars have event "Changed". Use it. By the way: use dotnet - learning vb6 is mistake. Robert
