Actually, I was looking to select the value Page1 from Drop1 on the main page. When you select Page1 it then redirects you to Page1, accepts the value, and displays it in Label1 on Page1 without a submit button. Thanks much!

Can somebody please tell me how to place a dropdownlist on one page in VS with a couple items on it, and then a label on another page to accept the value you selected on the first page? Basically I need to know how to redirect to another page with the selected value and then accept and display it. Thank you CB

Hi, I'm using Visual Studio to create dynamic web enabled database systems for work. The problem is they want me to use HTML tables soley so if somebody re-sizes their browser, the content will adjust in size with it as opposed to if you drag and drop controls on the form from the toolbox, it will not. It takes a lot of extra effort to create these tables and place the controls in them because you have to do it manually with raw HTML code. If you drag and drop a table in Visual Studio, it gives it coordinates etc. Am I doing this the hard way??? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks CB

Hi, what is the best way to write SQL code when creating ASP Web enabled systems that access a Sequel Server Database? I'm use to Access so when I have a complicated query, I've been creating a carbon copy DB in Access, setting up the relationships, and then creating queries so I can use the SQL it generates in ASP. I'm not up to speed yet with writing SQL when you have to include inner and outer joins etc. What are my options other than what I'm doing now. Probably just study up on SQL? Thanks Boycech

Hi, in the Toolbox in Visual Studio under the HTML tab, there is an option to drag a flow Layout panel onto the design view grid page. I want to use it to type a lot of text into the page but when I do, the spacing between the lines I type is double spaced. How can I get it to single? Thanks
