+ You might try to use that value with the space, by this I mean it can look something like: "   " + Another option comes to mind is to use the custom dropdownlist that supports displaying the items in the datagrid format. AFAIK, there are a couple of articles posted on CP, you might want to look for them.

clickety[^] In case u have FireFox try CP toolbar ;) To say something about XML vs binary serialization, I think that strong typing in XML is quite an advantage - u can validate data (object) BEFORE trying to deserialize them... chekc out the articles here but basically create a wsdl file. use the disco and wsdl utilities with .net or click on the project name in the solutions explorer and click add web reference then naviaget to the wsdl file you created I would read a tutorial article on here first though
