I can't find 64-bit drivers for my printer (an older HP Deskjet), but other than that I haven't had many complaints. Although honestly, I run virtual machines on the Vista 64-bit host and tend to do all my work in the VMs.

Windows Vista 32-bit vs 64-bit -
Real SoftwareI've played with it. It is NOT a dumbed down version of VB. It has pretty much the same syntax as VB6, but it supports things that VB6 never supported, such as multithreading, polymorphism, multiplatform, etc. For old VB6 developers who are put off by VB.NET, I think REALbasic is a possible alternative (but then, I like to support the underdog sometimes). They have a free standard edition for LINUX you can download, or you can try a 30 day free trial for the Windows version. I recommend giving it a try, but definately try it before you buy it to make sure it fits your needs.

Which VS do you like?I've developed professionally with MS products since VB4, and I've had every version of VS since then (tho I have yet to try VS2008). To tell you the truth, I've actually come to love the Express Editions of VS2005. I have access to the full-blown edition, but for some reason I prefer to use the Express editions. I've written a number of production applications with it with no problem.
