Hi Daniel, In C# i add/edit/delete database data by triggering store_procedures with help of a partcular event(most times a buttom_click). I really don´t edit the way you said because it accepts everthing, so i don´t do that stuff. I always create conditions!!! so that method doesn´t apply to me. AFAIK you need to either explicitly link against the lowest supported version (not sure the old dlls are forward compatable), or build a switcher that links against every possible version you're using it on depending on availability. You could also try putting the v12 dll on the system with word 2003 (v11), but IIRC that won't work. Today's lesson is brought to you by the word "niggardly". Hello, Just an addintional info. As the Process class implements IDisposable you should call Dispose() to free the memory. You could use an using-block for that reason. using(System.Diagnostics.Process WordProcess = new System.Diagnostics.Process()) { WordProcess = System.Diagnostics.Process.Start(psi); ... } I don't think there is a need to call the "Kill" method after "HasExited" is "true". Same with "EnableRaisingEvents", only needed if you want to handle the "Exited" event. P.S.: Strange, that WaitForExit is not working here. All the best, Martin
