Your other problem is that you copied and pasted this code from another website without understanding what it's doing. I'm willing to be that you have the Declares statements wrong because the code on the other site is written for VB6 and you're using VB.NET. Since there are big differences between the data types with the same names in the two languages, most notably the Long type, the code is not going to work in VB.NET without some conversion. Are you trying to send this mouse click to your own code?? Or to an outside application?? In your own code, you do'nt have to simulate a mouse click. How you reorganize your code to allow calling it from other places depends on what your code is doing in its mouse click event. If an outside app, look into getting the window handle of the control you want to send the mouse click to and use the Win32 API function SendMessage to send a properly formatted mouse window message to the target window. The screen solution would just be a couple of numbers. You send that as a string out the serial port just like any other string of text. First, what does the device that your sending this information to expect? In what format does it expect this information? Second, which version of VB?? VB6, VB.NET 2002, 2003, or 2005?
