48k of memory? Sheer luxury!! My first computer was a Commodore PET (with the original old ROM!) which had 8k of memory and the cassette tape interface. The amazing thing, when I think about it now, is that with only 8k (which was for both program AND data) there were great programs available- word processors, spreadsheets, and some great games. Can't fit much of a program in 8k these days! By the way, I still have that Commodore PET, and yes, it still works!! Gary
